The adventurous and outdoorsy took on the 10 mile Sue Ryder Settle Loop Challenge and the 3 Dales Marathon last weekend (28 October), raising vital funds for the Oxenhope-based hospice.
The events, sponsored by 3 Peaks Cycles and Castleberg Outdoors, both started and finished at North Ribblesdale RUFC. All participants were rewarded with a buff plus hot food at the end.
Emma Carr, member of the Settle fundraising group, said: “We would like to thank everyone for taking part in the Settle Loop Challenge and 3 Dales Marathon. It was great to see so many walkers, runners and riders enjoying the day all while raising vital funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.”
