An entertainment venue at the Leeds White Rose Centre is marking sixty years since England’s historic 1966 World Cup victory by giving away free bowling games to anyone born during that famous year.
King Pins is launching the promotion to coincide with the start of the FIFA World Cup tournament. Individuals born in 1966 can claim a free bowling session for a family group of up to four people, available throughout the football tournament.
To redeem the offer, eligible guests must email proof of age, in the form of a valid government-issued photo ID, to 60years@pinsleisure.co.uk. Successful applicants will be issued a £60 digital voucher redeemable against a four-person lane booking. The promotion is strictly limited to the first 260 claimants and is valid for bookings between Monday 1st June and Sunday 19th July 2026.
The campaign runs alongside the venue’s wider World Cup screenings, positionally designed as a relaxed, family-friendly alternative to traditional, crowded sports bars. While matches are broadcast live, the multi-activity space allows families access to ten-pin and duck-pin bowling, ice-free curling, shuffleboard, American pool, mini-golf, karaoke, and tech darts. Exclusive World Cup sharing platters, including pizzas, chicken tenders, and loaded fries, will also be served throughout the tournament.
