The brand-new winter village at Meadowhall officially opened its doors to visitors on Friday 24th November.
The family experience allows visitors to join a team of elves in the workshop to write their very own letter to Santa, before visiting the grotto to meet Mr Claus himself with each child receiving a gift from Santa.
There will be a selection of Christmas market stalls at the Winter Village, allowing visitors to browse a range of beautifully crafted gifts, mulled wine, hot chocolates and traditional tasty treats.
The experience also promises festive fun and games, including Christmas rides, songs and dances to get everyone into the festive spirit, and there are themed selfie spots for visitors to capture special memories to treasure.
The experience is now open to visitors for the next four weeks in Meadowhall’s External Oasis Courtyard, with tickets available to book from £5.95 for adults, £11.95 for children or £29.95 for a family of four.

Sheffield will also be the place to be to spot Dr Seuss’ Grinch this Christmas, who will be causing plenty of mischief and mayhem at Meadowhall every weekend throughout November and December, alongside a host of festive characters, Christmas choirs and traditional brass bands popping up to sprinkle Christmas cheer at the centre.
