New Energy Efficient Harrogate Homes Hit The Market

THE first premium properties at Redrow’s latest development in Harrogate are now on sale.

Located off Kingsley Road, the first release of homes at Kingsley Manor are some of Redrow largest and most luxurious four and five-bedroom detached designs.

The development will eventually feature 88 new homes for private sale, in a mix of two, three and four-bedroom designs, alongside 58 affordable homes, to meet strong demand in the local area.

The properties will also be among the first Redrow homes in Yorkshire to feature air source heat pumps as standard to provide heating and hot water, as well as underfloor heating to the ground floor in detached designs, reducing homeowners’ energy use.

Steve Jackson, sales director for Redrow (Yorkshire), said: “We’re already receiving lots of enquiries for our Kingsley Manor development and there is a really strong demand in Harrogate for homes of this quality and character.

“Not only do our designs feature traditional Arts and Crafts inspired architecture and a high interior specification, but their energy efficiency ratings will also be among the best on the new build market.

“The introduction of air source heat pump technology will have the biggest impact to date on the efficiency of our homes as we move towards all-electric, ‘zero-carbon ready’ designs.”

Harrogate regularly features in the UK’s best places to live guides and was recently voted one of the UK’s top 10 happiest places to live.

As part of Redrow’s commitment to offer our homeowners a better way to live, the development will provide green space and play areas, ensuring that new residents and the wider community can access natural areas on their doorstep. Footpaths and cycle links to neighbouring developments, local facilities and into the town centre.

Steve added: “The outstanding properties at Kingsley Manor will provide the best of town and country lifestyle. Our strong placemaking principles will provide a blend of attractive street scenes and landscaped area to complement the development’s semi-rural location. In addition, we’re building a mix of detached, semi-detached and mews style homes, to create a diverse community with homes for everyone.”

As part of the development, Redrow will provide two main areas of open space, which will each feature play areas.

The home builder will also make significant contributions to the local community as part of the planning agreement, including more than £540,000 towards local education, £190,000 towards open space provision, £44,600 towards traffic signals and £5,000 for a local travel plan.

Redrow is already well known locally, with Kingsley Manor neighbouring the housebuilder’s previous development Devonshire Gardens and the two set to be linked by a footpath.

The first homes have gone on sale from another of Redrow’s Harrogate developments, Granby Meadows, and a customer experience suite and show homes will open at Kingsley Manor in late summer.

Prices are from £459,950 for a detached three-bedroom Amberley design. Five-bedroom homes start from £759,950. Homebuyers can book an appointment to speak to the Sales Team about the new properties at www.redrow.co.uk/Kingsleymanor
