Wensleydale Railway invites visitors to experience a festive journey into the past with its much-loved Edwardian Christmas event at Scruton Station, near Northallerton, on Sunday, 15th December.
From 2pm to 4pm, the beautifully restored station will come alive with Edwardian charm as living history interpreters recreate a classic Christmas celebration. Guests can enjoy festive songs played on a traditional harmonium, sip on mulled wine, and savour mince pies in a cosy, Christmassy atmosphere.
Festive Fun for All Ages
- Adults: £5 entry includes a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative).
- Children: £2 entry includes juice, biscuits, and a selection of Christmas activities.
There’s no need to pre-book, so simply turn up and enjoy an afternoon of Edwardian-style cheer.
