Taste BD, Bradford’s popular food and drink festival, will return on Saturday, 24 May, and Sunday, 25 May 2025, promising a bigger and bolder celebration for the May Bank Holiday weekend. Following its 2023 debut, which attracted over 25,000 visitors, organisers are preparing an event that highlights the best of local food, drink, and creative talent.
Set against the backdrop of City Park, this year’s festival will be part of Bradford’s City of Culture celebrations. Organised by Raven Staging in partnership with Bradford City Council, the two-day event will showcase local cuisine, arts, crafts, and entertainment.
Eddie Kean, Director of Raven Staging, said, “We’re thrilled to announce the return of Taste BD in 2025. It’s our firm belief that there’s no better way to celebrate cultural diversity than getting together to enjoy the food, drink and art that our differences spawn. Our primary aim with this festival is to create a living, breathing testament to Bradford’s culinary and creative excellence. We’re working hard to bring you the best-of-the-best and we can’t wait to welcome everyone down.”
Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said, “This is a real moment to celebrate the varied exceptional cuisine on offer across our district, bringing everything from pretzels to puri and gyros to goat curry to the city centre. Food is a big part of our culture in the Bradford district and during our year as UK City of Culture, it’s only right that we bring this festival back.”
Alongside a diverse range of food stalls, visitors can expect cooking demonstrations, craft markets, and live entertainment. While the full list of vendors and chefs has yet to be announced, organisers promise an exciting lineup for both returning guests and first-time attendees.
