Leeds is set to welcome a new hub for comedy and entertainment as The Glee opens on Albion Street. The venue launches on Friday, 28th March with a weekend packed with top comedians.
The opening lineup features BAFTA-winning Tom Davis, multi-award-winning Brennan Reece, Irish comedy star Dylan Moran, stand-up comedian Fin Taylor, and actress and presenter Michelle De Swarte.
The Leeds venue will be The Glee’s sixth in the UK, offering a weekly programme of comedy and entertainment. Regular Friday and Saturday night comedy shows will run alongside performances from well-known comedians, live bands, and special events.
The venue will also feature a full food and drink menu, including bar classics, cocktail pitchers, beer buckets, and wines. Guests can make the most of weekly food deals, a pre-order service, and custom packages for a tailored night out.

The Glee’s founder Mark Tughan said: “The countdown is on to our Leeds launch, and we are very much looking forward to lifting the curtain on our opening weekend. The venue is looking incredible, and we’ve curated a stellar lineup of acts which promise to be brilliant entertainment for everyone.
“We’re also hugely excited to launch our regular weekend comedy shows and we will have some big act announcements to make over the next few months. The finishing touches are now being made to our new Leeds home as we prepare to welcome customers in just a few weeks’ time, when we can’t wait to have lots of laughs with the people of Yorkshire.”
Established in 1994, The Glee is a well-known name in UK comedy, having hosted performers like Peter Kay, Michael McIntyre, Jo Brand, and Sarah Millican. The venue has also welcomed music acts such as Adele and Mumford & Sons.
