Popular Leeds comedy venue The Glee Club is partnering with some of the city’s favourite independent hospitality spots this August to give away 300 free show tickets.
Launching on Monday, 3rd August, ‘The Big Glee Giveaway’ aims to encourage residents to discover and support local businesses while enjoying a complimentary night of live stand-up comedy.
The free tickets will be distributed through a curated selection of independent cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and lifestyle spots across Leeds. To claim a pair of tickets, customers need to visit a participating business, make a purchase, and ask for the complimentary passes at the counter.
Tickets will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis starting 3rd August while stocks last.

The participating independent businesses include:
- Things in Bread
- Ryde Studios
- Rinse
- Bake
- Bottle Chop
- Chessy Living
- Little Bao Boy
- House of Koko
- Doh’Hut
- The Savvy Baker
Mark Tughan, founder of The Glee Club, said: “Independent businesses are at the heart of what makes Leeds such a vibrant city. We wanted to create a giveaway that not only rewards our audiences with a great night out but also shines a spotlight on the fantastic local businesses that deserve our support.
“By working together, we hope to introduce people to somewhere new, encourage them to shop local and create some laughter across the city throughout August.”
The promotion forms part of The Glee Club’s wider summer comedy programme, which features regular shows throughout August showcasing stand-up comedians from across the UK.
