Following the success of its brand-new ‘A Taste of Yorkshire’ Tasting Room at its popular Visitor Centre in Hawes, Wensleydale Creamery has announced the launch of a new loyalty card scheme, which will allow visitors free entry for 12 months to the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience.
As part of Wensleydale Creamery’s continuous investment, visitors to the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience at its Visitor Centre can sign up for a new Loyalty Card which gives cheese lovers unlimited opportunities to visit the popular attraction all year round – a must-have for foodies and families alike!
Visitors will be able to enjoy the Cheese Experience’s activities time and time again, including guided samplings of a delicious range of handcrafted Wensleydale Creamery cheeses paired perfectly with local food & drink accompaniments in the ‘A Taste of Yorkshire’ tasting room. They’ll also be able to watch the Creamery’s expert master cheesemakers at work from the Viewing Gallery and enjoy the popular cheese and butter making demonstrations. There’s fun for the whole family with hands-on games and activities; drive the children’s milk tanker and learn all about how a cow makes milk, plus there are clips of the Wallace & Gromit films to watch, with colouring kits, quizzes and puzzles for the children, along with the opportunity to have a photo taken with the famous duo too!
Speaking of the new loyalty scheme, Trish Cannon, Director of the Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre, said: “As the UK’s flagship Cheese Visitor Experience, we’re always looking at ways to continue to update and evolve our offering. We’re excited to launch our new Loyalty Card Scheme as a way to say thank you to our loyal customers by offering annual free unlimited entry.
“We want to ensure our guests have the most enjoyable and tasty visit and believe our new scheme will encourage guests to visit more often, where they can learn about our fantastic cheese range and other local artisan products that pair perfectly with them, as well as sampling along the way!
“We have further plans to expand the experience with cookery demonstrations and ‘meet the maker’ sampling, so when visitors return there will be something different each time for them to enjoy!”
