Trinity Leeds is bringing a brand-new event to the heart of the city this weekend with its first-ever Artisan Market – a celebration of Yorkshire’s independent talent. Taking place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April, the market will shine a spotlight on some of the region’s most creative designers, foodies, and small businesses.
Set up on the scenic link bridge between Next and ROX, the market will feature an array of unique stalls from handmade candles and mood-boosting aromatics to local art, jewellery, and indulgent sweet treats.
Visitors can explore home fragrance favourites like Snugararomatics, known for their vegan-friendly candles and diffusers, or pick up a summer-scented Lime & Mango candle from Yorkshire Candles on Saturday. On Sunday, VS Home will join the lineup with its beautifully crafted home accessories and decorative gift sets.

For those seeking something stylish and handmade, Polly Plant will showcase her nature-inspired polymer clay jewellery, while Yorkshire Knitter will bring hand-crafted headbands, plushies and accessories with a nostalgic charm.

Foodies won’t want to miss Batch’d, bringing its legendary thick doughnuts and decadent cookie pies to the event alongside Leeds Gin – a small-batch distillery offering artisan gin blends in a range of delicious flavours.

Art lovers can stop by Yorkshire Prints for a selection of quirky local illustrations or browse LDM Design on Sunday for their eco-conscious prints, mugs and apparel with a bold, sustainable message.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Yorkshire-led independents this weekend and provide the region’s talented artists and makers with a premium platform to showcase their designs and products here at Trinity Leeds. We can’t wait to browse all the stalls and enjoy the food on offer – and hope everyone can come down and support them.”
The Artisan Market is free to attend and will run from 10am–6pm on Saturday, and 11am–5pm on Sunday.
