Verus Construction celebrates its collaboration with renowned Yorkshire architects, Studio Map as they announce the completion of their second luxury housing project in Alwoodley, Leeds.
The conversion and redesign of the 1930s home on the renowned Sandmoor Avenue began in 2022 and took one year to complete. The 3,600 sq foot red-brick detached home has been transformed into an 8,000 sq foot modern two-storey, lightweight structured building with curtain glazing, double height balcony staircase and an entirely glass exterior to the back of the house that leads out to an impressive landscaped garden.
The project boasts minimalist features of polished concrete flooring, hidden guest bedrooms, private balconies, an art gallery, a gym and a sauna. The floor-to-ceiling fenestration floods the home with light, providing an open plan and highly contemporary living space.

The first home created by Verus Construction and Studio Map, which was completed in 2022, saw them create a 7,500 sq foot sustainable home on the highly sought-after Wigton Chase, with an excellent EPC rating, insulation and ground source heating. The five-bedroom family home is a contemporary two-storey modern home set within generous grounds, with sustainable features and materials such as composite cladding and a zinc roof to create a contemporary and conscious building.
