Wood Hall Hotel & Spa

spa hotels in yorkshire
Image: Wood Hall Hotel & Spa

Address: Trip Lane, Linton, Wetherby LS22 4JA|
Tel: 01937 587271

This 4* country house hotel in West Yorkshire was originally built on the banks of the River Wharfe, which now runs through the estate, but was destroyed by Cromwell’s army during the Civil War. A new Wood Hall was designed by famous Yorkshire architect John Carr and erected in 1750 when it came under the ownership of the Scott family. The house remained a family home until the early 20th century when it was then transformed into a boy’s prep school, which educated the children of notable names including Sir Len Hutton.

Now part of the Handpicked Hotels group, many of the period property’s original features remain and blend effortlessly with the hotel’s stylish decor. This isn’t one of the spa hotels in Yorkshire offering a huge array of facilities but there’s plenty on offer to make a stay at Wood Hall a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Facilities include a large indoor swimming pool, a spa pool, a steam room, a gym and two treatment rooms where you can indulge in a range of quality treatments provided by fully qualified therapists.

A 1-night spa break at Woof Hall includes breakfast and a 55-minute treatment with options including a luxury facial, full body massage, classic pedicure and a luxury manicure. The Captivating Spa Break package costs from £163.50 per person.
