Nestled in the picturesque village of Settle, The Golden Lion is an award-winning, 17th Century coaching inn which boasts all the charm and character you’d expect from an escape to the Yorkshire Dales. From the roaring fires to the hearty home-cooked food, The Golden Lion provides the perfect backdrop for your next winter retreat.
Featuring a decked-out winter lodge and five smaller huts in their courtyard, the inn’s annual Alpine Village invites guests to enjoy a truly memorable festive experience. If you’re looking for a unique venue for your Christmas party, the Alpine Village can host small groups, large parties or be hired exclusively.
Whilst relaxing in their cosy blankets, visitors can indulge in a decadent festive afternoon tea or feast their eyes on a delicious three-course festive menu, all accompanied by tasty tipples from the Winter Warmer drinks menu. Their sumptuous offering includes mulled wine, cask ales, Christmas cocktails, and they’ve even launched a dedicated hot chocolate menu.
