We may be biased, but we think the Yorkshire Coast is one of the finest parts of the United Kingdom and has much to offer those seeking a relaxing staycation. By far one of our favourite places in Yorkshire, if not the UK, Whitby is a great choice for people of all ages. With miles of sandy beaches, a bustling harbour, countless visitor attractions, an eclectic array of independent shops and, of course, its famous abbey – there is much to see and do!

The picture-perfect fishing village of Staithes is certainly one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in Yorkshire. If you like exploring then this is absolutely the place for you. Many a day can be filled seeking views from clifftop paths, hunting fossils and investigating rock pools.
