Stockeld Park, the award-winning family attraction near Wetherby, has unveiled the next phase of its overnight accommodation brand, Stockeld Stays. This summer marks the debut of brand-new luxury bell tents, joining the park’s existing beautifully restored gatehouse, Spofforth Lodge.
Launching in early July for weekends and running daily throughout the peak summer holidays (17 July – 31 August), the glamping experience is designed to provide families with an immersive outdoor adventure. Each tent sleeps up to five guests and features proper beds and “cosy interiors,” blending the charm of camping with modern comforts.

A major highlight of the stay is that free entry to the Adventure Park is included in the price. Guests will have unlimited access to over 40 acres of play, including:
- The Enchanted Forest and the Magical Maze.
- Adventure playgrounds and go-karts.
- The award-winning Playhive, one of Europe’s largest indoor play spaces.
- A daily summer programme of live entertainment, including bubble shows and silent discos.
Peter Grant, owner and “Chief Fun Officer” at Stockeld Park, said: “We’ve always thought there was something special about staying right here, and our new glamping experience finally makes that possible. It’s all about giving families more time together outdoors, combining the magic of Stockeld with the ease and comfort guests want from a summer staycation.”
The glamping site includes shared shower and toilet facilities and a communal kitchen area. Situated less than 15 minutes from Harrogate and within easy reach of York and Leeds, the site serves as a central base for exploring North Yorkshire.
