The carefully curated itinerary for the Rejuvenate, Rebalance & Reset Yourself Retreat at The Coniston offers:

Day 1

From 3 pm: Arrival and Welcome. Ample parking if arriving by car or if travelling by train the nearest stations are Gargrave or Skipton, with transfers provided by the hotel. 

4.30 pm: Welcome Refreshments and Introduction to the 3R’s themed 4-day Retreat. 

5.00 pm: A get-to-know with a gentle communal stroll around Coniston Lake, approx. 1 mile along paths within the peaceful Coniston Estate. 

6.00 pm: Healthy but hearty dinner devised by the hotel’s AA Rosette restaurant. 

7.00 pm: Presentation on the much sought-after subject ‘Nutrition for Rejuvenation’ by Nutrition Expert and Author Kate Chaytor-Norris, a leading voice or a ‘body detective’ as she’s been described, within nutritional therapy a holistic discipline which looks at the entire body and all of the different systems within it. Advice on: IBS, Crohns, Diabetes, Allergies, Blood Pressure, Menopause, Arthritis etc 

8.00 pm: Exclusive use of the award-winning Spa facilities to relax and unwind.            

9.30 pm: Comfortable accommodation with healing herbal teas at downturn.  

Day 2

7.30 am: Gentle yoga within a most scenic setting, overlooking the lake. Bring your body to wakefulness with some gentle yogic stretching whilst admiring the beautiful view! 

8.45 am: Fogga Cottage Breakfast – have a healthy and deliciously nutritious start! 

10.00 am: Local Walk – A guided walk of approx. 4 miles through the Coniston Estate and into the heart of this unique part of the Yorkshire Dales – rolling drumlin and limestone scenery with clearwater becks surrounded by distant views of Yorkshire Gritstone hills. 

1.00 pm: Lunch will be served back at Fogga Cottage, nutritious & fuel-filled in preparation for the afternoon activities.

2.00 pm: Masterclass given by Kate Chaytor-Norris on Sleep and Healthy Nutrition to counter the effects of toxic exposure.

4.00 pm: Wild Swim in a private location, with hot drink to follow! 

6.00 pm: Healthy but Hearty Dinner. 

8.00 pm: Exclusive use of Nadarra Spa for further relaxation.           

9.30 pm: Retire to accommodation and bed. 

Day 3

7.30 am: Gentle Yoga – Bring your body to wakefulness with some gentle yogic stretching whilst admiring the beautiful lake and view. 

8.45 am: Breakfast at Fogga Cottage within the estate grounds. 

10.00 am: Yorkshire Landmark Walk – A guided walk of approx. 4 miles from the nearby village of Malham to see the unique limestone cove, the classic limestone pavement and the tarn.  Guests will be provided with transport to and from Malham and also a wholesome packed lunch drawn from local food suppliers.

2.30 pm: Two groups of x 6 

Group A to enjoy Sothys Indonesie Ancestrale spa treatment, inspired by ancestral Indonesian beauty rituals to bring about powerful well-being for the body and mind by rebalancing their energies. An exotic treatment combining global body massage and breathing rituals. 

Group B to enjoy a rejuvenating Singing workshop hosted by the exceptional opera singer Bibi Heal of Royal Festival Hall fame. Then we swap over group activities. 

6.00 pm: Final evening BBQ with Martin Pemberton leading a thought-provoking session around the fire pits with meditation and reflection. 

8.00 pm:  Exclusive Use of Nadarra Spa.       

9.30 pm: Retire to accommodation and to bed. 

Day 4

7.30 am: Gentle Yoga overlooking the lake and countryside beyond. 

8.30 am: Cold water swim to invigorate, wake the body and enjoy clarity of mind. 

9.30 am: Breakfast within the Fogga Cottage with Retreat Debrief. 

11.00 am: Check-out, final message from Martin and Farewell See You Again Soon!

About Kate Chaytor Norris – Kate is a specialist in the holistic discipline of Nutritional Therapy. A therapy which looks at the entire body and all of the different systems within it, such systems and their common symptoms can include: Skin – Eczema, ACNE, Psoriasis. Digestive -IBS, Crohns, Diverticulitis also Metabolic– Diabetes, Immune – Allergies, Autoimmune Issues and Hormone – PMT, Menopause, Endometriosis, Infertility also Musculoskeletal – Arthritis, Osteoporosis etc Kate has worked closely with the chefs at The Coniston to ensure a nutritionally balanced menu as she believes that by providing the right nutrients for the body and ensuring that effective digestion is taking place, the body can be very efficient at healing and rebalancing itself, sometimes combined with lifestyle changes also. 

About Martin Pemberton – Martin has coached on the subject of Mindset & Relationships for many years. He and his wife, offer Mental Health and Wellbeing talks, workshops, individual coaching to improve lives by providing guidance, support and simple & effective tools to help individuals overcome life challenges and achieve their goals. Martin a former pro-footballer has years of experience, helping individuals understand and create a deeper connection with themselves to resolve the challenges that they face in everyday life. 

About Bibi Heal – After completing her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music Bibi studied with Graeme Danby, Jonathan Papp and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. She currently studies with Sena Larard. Bibi is passionate about programming and performing imaginative recitals in ways that cross the boundaries between performer and listener. Bibi’s work ranges from Bohemian music,  Puccini opera arias to Parisian cafe songs. Recital engagements include Opera North, Helmsley Arts Centre, Festival of Chichester, Leeds Lieder, Handel Festival Göttingen, Valladolid Festival Spain, Ripon International Festival, Amici Concerts and the Philharmonia Orchestra’s Maazel: Mahler series at the Royal Festival Hall.
